Title: Lab Technician Department Org: Med Microbio & Immunology

Bargaining Unit: Professional Staff Association Primary Location:
Shift: 1 Start Time: 8:30 End Time: 5:30 Job Description: Under the
direction and supervision of the Principle Investigator (PI), the
lab research tech will perform wet laboratory experiments with a
focus on cell culture and assessment of lead drug compounds.
Ordering supplies and passaging cell lines will also be part of the
wet laboratory duties. Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education/experience/licensing: • A bachelor’s degree undergraduate
Science degree is required. • Ability to communicate effectively
both orally and written. • Ability to read and write common
vocabulary and perform arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide,
calculate fractions). • Ability to follow work direction. • Ability
to use personal computer and common office equipment Preferred
Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: Experience in wet
laboratory research is preferred. Conditions of Employment: To
