Title: Research Assistant Department Org: Transplant Administration - 110170 Employee Classification: J1 - Salaried Full Time HSC Bargaining Unit: Professional Staff Association Primary Location: HSC H Shift: 1 Start Time: 8:00am End Time: 4:30pm Posted Salary: $43,888 - $65,832 Float: False Rotate: True On Call: True Travel: True Weekend/Holiday: True Job Description: This position assists in research and grant projects under the Transplant Department. Will have direct patient interaction. Will be directly assisting the Principal Investigator with current research studies and administrative duties. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Clinical Research, Health Care, or Applied Health Science or similar is required. Master’s Degree is preferred. Prior experience in research is preferred. Knowledge of research design, data management and basic statistics. Knowledge of clinical trials and IRB submission is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree is preferred. Prior experience in research is preferred.
