An international machine parts manufacturer in the Battel Creek, Michigan area is currently searching for a full-time Account Representative to join their facility. This is a full-time, direct hire position.Sales Account Representative Responsibilities Include: Identify new business development opportunities, and establish relationships with potential customers within assigned sales territoryInterface with customers and clients regarding product issues, quality assurance, questions, etc.Collaboration with sales teams and clients in regards to market analysis, product planning, and expected demandProduct proposal preparation and deliveryCreate price quotations and negotiate price / costs with customers; secure product orders and follow up on tracking and deliveryWork with management and other sales employees to develop sales goals, department process improvement, objectives, etc. Frequent communication with parent company overseasOccasional business travel as requiredOther duties as assigned by Sales ManagerSales Account Representative Requirements Include: Minimum 3 years' sales / account management experience in a manufacturing environment preferredBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field preferred, OR equivalent work experienceStrong business development and sales prospect conversion abilitiesAdditional knowledge of quality assurance (PPAP, Quality Failure Analysis, etc.) and warehouse operations is a plus Strong communication in written and spoken EnglishAbility to prioritize tasks and good organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
