Description:MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate all activities related to the sales to assigned customers including customer service, price negotiation, material price control and order/delivery control. For this particular position they will be responsible for solely serving their largest client, DENSO. They will be selling raw materials to them, aluminum and steel. They will be responsible for handling customer service calls and troubleshooting any quality issues. The sales aspect is to saturate Denso, and get more managers in additional departments to buy from them.*Expand the business to new customers within the company by offering up new product *Place orders for materials with appropriate suppliers and vendors*Work effectively with team members to troubleshoot material management issues*Keep area organized and clean following 5S principles.*Develop work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow as needed to service their account*Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures.*Complete department paperwork.*Represent UMPA to outside vendors and customers.Overall, the main responsibility of the Account Manager will be to manage their new client, sell product to them, receive order, created purchasing forecasts, create purchase orders through their supplier in Japan, and work with the warehouse to make sure they have the inventory needed for product fulfillment. They will also be responsible for collaborating with the customer to help them look for new opportunities to increase business and other business related opportunities.They can expect to travel up to 4 times a year (once a quarter) to visit their client in Kentucky.The right candidate will be able to complete all tasks mentioned above and their personality traits will include:*Family Oriented*Appreciation for Safety in the workplace*Will be more of a "listener" rather than a talker*Have the ability to sell but not be as aggressive as your typical care salesmen*Doesn't fold under pressureSkills:Inventory Management, Customer Service, Negotiation, Sales, Account ManagementTop Skills Details:Account ManagementSalesInventory ManagementAdditional Skills & Qualifications:3-5 years of purchasing and customer service experience working with aluminum, steel, or at a manufacturing plant (preferably within automotive)PLUSBachelor's Degree in Business or related program OR5+ years of sales experience and 3+ years of customer service experience in lieu of college degree.Negotiation experienceInventory Management experienceOutside sales experiencebilingual in JapaneseExperience Level:Expert Level About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
