You will manage the long term and short term forecasting process for assigned items/brands/equities. Serve as a liaison between cross-functional business partners to ensure that all forecasts are accurate and necessary inputs gathered. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Heavy on the Planning - you're planning experience is playing a critical role in the overall monthly planning process - you love customer trends, working with sales, and knowing what the brand strategy is. You probably play strategy board games... - your keen eye for analytics and strategy are impressive, as you pull reports, analyze forecasts, and tell a data driven story for demand planning success. Delivering on Expectations - Responsible for understanding consumption, shipment trends and category dynamics to support and endorse total volume forecast Insight Driven - Lead the monthly consensus process for the item/brand/equity for which you are responsible The Trifecta - You'll look at item week, location level and the projection that is intended to sell and ship to customers. And you thrive under the pressure, so hitting your metrics will be a breeze. Collaborate to Win - Prepare and present various analyses of forecast performance of business unit to management upon request. Communicate fully with supervisors and others who have a need to know in a way that is timely, yet prompt; complete, yet concise; candid, yet accurate; and clear, yet responsive YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS Required Previous customer service, supply planning, sales planning experience or other related supply chain planning Bachelor's degree in business or related field OR HS Diploma/GED and experience in logistics, demand planning/forecasting, supply planning, or supply chain related areas Demonstrated analytical work experience; analyzing trends High proficiency working with SAP or similar database application technology Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Access or similar software Bonus Points Bachelor's degree in business or related field (IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Statistics) or equivalent training and experience required Extensive work in logistics, demand planning/forecasting, supply planning, or supply chain related areas in a CPG environment WHAT'S NEXT It's best to apply today, because job postings can be taken down and we wouldn't want you to miss this opportunity.
