Our electricians are responsible for ensuring all services and repairs are executed to code and meet Homestate Electric's company standards. We are looking for a qualified electrician who takes pride in what they do to join our team.*Position Duties & Responsibilities: *_General electrical services and repairs, including but not limited to: _ - Corresponding with customers in a professional and courteous manner - Ensuring electrical systems meet company standards, the National Electrical Code, and all relevant local codes - Installing electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices - Installing switches, circuit breaker panels, relays, and other electrical distribution equipment - Coordinating and communicating with electrical inspectors on projects as needed - Assisting with problem-solving by using basic construction and organizational skills - Work in both team and individual settings*Position Requirements & Qualifications: * - Must be a licensed Journeyman Electrician in the State of Michigan - Must possess and maintain valid driver's license and good driving record - At least four years of electrical experience preferred - Must be willing to pursue and participate in continuing education - Must have exemplary customer service and communication skills - Must be prompt, punctual, and reliable - Must have strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills - Must be able to work independentlyJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hourBenefits:* Health insurance* Retirement planSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:* Battle Creek, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:* High school or equivalent (Preferred)License/Certification:* Electrical License (Required)Willingness to travel:* 25% (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
