Job Title: - - - - - - - - - - - -Assistant Construction Survey and Technology ManagerWe are seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to support our Construction Survey and Technology Manager. -The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of our automated machine guidance (AMG) operations including 3D file preparation, site calibration, maintenance and tracking of technology assets, managing firmware/software updates and troubleshooting of AMG systems on project sites.Job Duties:

• Prepare 3D files for AMG use on assigned projects
• Perform initial site calibration and setup of AMG systems for various projects
• Become familiar with all system hardware components for both GPS and UTS based systems
• Assist with maintenance, care and tracking of all AMG and laser technology assets
• Provide troubleshooting of AMG systems on project sites as needed
• Assist Estimating Department with 3D modeling for earthwork volume calculationsEssential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an associate degree in civil engineering, surveying, or other related area of study
  • Experience with at least one 3D civil CAD program
  • Candidate should be detail oriented and exceptionally well organized
  • Candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively with individuals inside and outside the organization
  • Must have strong computer usage skills including basic software such as Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Construction industry experienceBeneficial Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, surveying, or other related area of study
    • Familiarity with Trimble product line of AMG systems
    • Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) 3D CAD software
    • Specific experience with excavating and grading operations
    • Survey and construction layout experienceSalary:
