As a Sterilization Technician, you will clean and sterilize instruments. Managing the patient flow and schedules is crucial in assuring efficient delivery and top-quality patient care. No weekend shifts!Please note the flu and COVID-19 vaccines are minimum work requirements. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list is not all inclusive.)+ Helps with maintenance and cleaning of dental equipment and supplies+ Prepares for and performs sterilization procedures+ Participates in OSHA compliance and monitoring+ Practices Universal precautions+ Exposes and appropriately labels radiographs utilizing digital software+ Maintain patient flow and awareness of the order in which the dentists are to see patients+ Prepares treatment rooms and tray set up+ Seats and dismisses patient. + Assist the hygienist when needed+ Although each position has its own unique duties and responsibilities, please refer to the policy on Job Descriptions for details that apply to every positionREQUIREMENTS- Flu and COVID-19 vaccines required- High school graduate or GED- One year work experience, preferably in a medical organization- Radiology certification preferred
