REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to read & interpret financial statements.Excellent
financial modeling skills, proficiency in Excel, Access, and
otherrelated data systems. Ability to workindependently,
detail-oriented, and execution focused. Proven
decision-making,problem solving, and multi-tasking skills. Strong
interpersonal &communication skills. Quick thinker,
self-motivated, action oriented. Abilityto work, partner and
influence cross functional teams.
Serve as a key resource in coordination of annual budgetingcycle
and liaison to functional departments(Operations, Engineering, HR,
etc.). Develop and maintain financial modelsunderlying the
organization's budgeting and forecasting infrastructure.
Developing department-level financial forecasts foroperating
expenses and capital expenditures utilizing inputs from
departmentmanagers and project-focused spending plans. Providing
meaningful and informative analysis to explain why thebusiness
results varied from the approved financial plan. Take ownership
over the forecasting processand identifying areas for improvement
of processes, systems, and models. Effectively collaborating with
the Accountingteam on completion of monthly and quarterly financial
closes and incorporationof actual results into the live forecast.
Partnering with stakeholders outside of the Finance and Accounting
teamas necessary for forecast inputs and process improvements.
Performs and executes an array of additionalad hoc financial and
operational analyses as requested. Effectively analyze sources of
significantbudget and forecast variances and fluctuations in
operating revenues andexpenditures; summarizes and shares findings
1-5 years of financial planningand analysis experience. Experience
withERP systems JDE, SAP, Oracle, etc. Experience within a high
volume manufacturing environment (automotivepreferred).
Cross-departmental workexperience in a manufacturing environment is
also preferred but not required. BOMmanagement experience (BOM
changes, std cost management, WIP analysis, etc.).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job you may beasked to
intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift or carry component
partsweighing up to 35 pounds-lifting parts in excess of 35 pounds
with a liftassist, use hands to handle or feel parts, reach with
hand and arms, stoop,kneel, crouch, talk and hear, use close
vision, distance vision, color vision,depth perception, peripheral
vision, frequent phone use and typing.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS(MUST meet minimumqualifications to be
