Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Certified Professional Recruiter. Minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience, including at least 6 years in Recruiting and 2 years in management.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong experience in sourcing candidates. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Applicant Track System experience, prefer Taleo. Ability to interface with all levels of the organization. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple and competing priorities. Strong relationships with outside agencies and search firms. Detail-oriented, self-starting attitude.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES



  • Develop, implement and manage an effective candidate sourcing strategy.


  • Develop and execute recruiting plans.


  • Work with hiring managers on.


  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.


  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.


  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need. Manage the use of recruiters and headhunters.


  • Develop and implement, as part of branding DMMI, awareness days at local high schools, middle schools, career centers.


  • Sponsor job shadowing to inform students of manufacturing opportunities.


  • Evaluate offer rejections and associate resignations to determine the main reasons, and make recommendations on ways to increase acceptance rates or retention rates.


  • Work with compensation and benefits to develop strategies to ensure maximum acceptance rates on all offers. Manage the non-exempt recruitment process. This includes recruitment strategies, career fairs, and the job posting process, interviewing, offers, and the placement of associates for both production and skilled trades.


  • Oversee Applicant Tracking System. Evaluate and make improvements in the system as needed.


  • Supervise the daily operational and staff activities of the Recruiting department.


  • Collaborate with senior management to develop goals, objectives and measures for department in light of overall division and organization strategy. Develops, communicates and is accountable for goal attainment.


  • Communicate and implement change management initiatives.


  • Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.


  • Understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.


  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.


  • Develop department budget and monitor and maintain spending within annual budget plans. Help lead Recruiting efforts among the Thermal North American group companies.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT
    While performing the duties of this job you may be asked to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift or carry component parts weighing up to 35 pounds-lifting parts in excess of 35 pounds with a lift assist, work on the production line for short periods of time, use hands to handle or feel parts, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear, use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, frequent phone use and typing. The work environment will vary from an open office setting to a production environment.
