Status: Non-ExemptShift: 1st: 7:00am-3:30pmSummary: Keeps premises
/ buildings in clean and orderly condition. Also provides day
porter responsibilities as outlined below.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: Include the following, other duties may be
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms,
corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Replaces light bulbs.
- Cuts and trims grass, and shovels snow.
- Delivers messages.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Sets up tables and chairs in auditorium or hall.
- General errands as requested by organization such as light
deliveries, material pickups, if applicable. Competencies: To
