Job Description:

PAY RATE: ***-***/HR

HOURS: 7 AM - 3 PM (Monday - Friday)

Job Summary:
The Purchasing Clerk will perform administrative and clerical duties for the purchasing functions of *** Box on Demand.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provides administrative and clerical support to the maintenance department.
Prepares accurate and complete purchase orders for supplies, materials, machine parts and raw goods.
Types reports, purchase orders, and other documents.
Interacts with suppliers and vendors to research and collects prices, product specifications, and other data related to goods and services
Maintains recordkeeping system for purchasing functions. Maintains detailed records of purchases, including quantities, shipping information, and costs associated with the purchase.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies.
Ability to type 40 words per minute.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Experience using JDE a plus.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least two years of clerical experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
