Job Description: pKellogg Community Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer!/ppbr//ppThe Compliance Officer role is a critical position for the Organization. The position is responsible for ensuring the Credit Union is in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Reviews and appraises the soundness, adequacy, effectiveness, and proper application of account and financial controls and of credit underwriting. Assesses the adequacy and extent of programs designed to safeguard Credit Union assets. /ppbr//ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pp /ppManages, implements, and ensures compliance with applicable financial laws and regulations. Analyzes and reports data as required./ppReviews and implements regulatory changes. Compiles reference resources for the Credit Union's daily use to ensure compliance with regulations. /ppAssists in developing policies and procedures for compliance issues. Conducts periodic reviews of existing policies to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness. /ppEnsures policies and procedures are updated and are in accordance with evolving regulations, legal requirements, and industry trends. /ppStays informed of trends and developments in compliance issues and loan reviews./ppEstablishes and maintains effective communication and coordination with management and staff./ppCompletes and submits required reports, records, and related documents. /ppResolves complaints, questions, requests, and problems promptly. Provides assistance as needed to staff./ppMonitors regular completion of compliance tasks./ppKeeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems./ppPerforms other job related duties as assigned./ppbr//pimg src=
