Fort Wayne, Indiana Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Level II Trauma Center • 36K Volume • High Shift Availability • Long-Term Need Rhino Medical is leading the charge actively seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians (ABEM/AOBEM) for a high-volume, long-term locum tenens opportunity in Fort Wayne, Indiana . This is a busy, well-supported emergency department within a Level II Trauma Center , offering a wide range of shift options, strong specialty backup, and consistent monthly scheduling. Indiana licensed physicians only will be considered. Opportunity Snapshot Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing (6 Months) Schedule: 20 shifts per month available across sites Minimum Commitment: 4 shifts/month required EMR: Cerner Facility Overview Regional tertiary care hospital 396 hospital beds 44 ED beds 36,000 annual ED visits Level II Trauma Center ~1.6 patients per hour This is a high-functioning emergency department with strong operational flow and consistent patient volume. Shift Structure Multiple shift options available: Weekdays (Tues–Fri): 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM Monday variation: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM Weekends (Sat–Sun): 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM Providers must be flexible across day, swing, and night shifts .
