Location: Toledo Hospital Department: System Mission Services Weekly Hours: 0 Status: Per Diem Shift: Variable (United States of America) Job Summary: During a hospital stay, the Chaplin provides spiritual care and guidance to patients, families and staff. In this role, you will coordinate communication between patient/family and community clergy as needed. You will also attend monthly spiritual care meetings . Within the department, you are required to serve as on-call chaplain throughout each month . The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. REQUIREMENTS Master’s degree in related field or working towards such degree 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for full time positions , 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for part time positions Candidates with 2 or more years experience as a chaplain within the healthcare field may be considered for contingent roles PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS 2 years as a chaplain in a healthcare related field APC or NACC or equivalent ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
