University of Toledo Physicians • Department of Urology The
University of Toledo Physicians (UTP) is seeking a Nurse
Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding
Department of Urology . This position offers a unique opportunity
to provide comprehensive urologic care within a collaborative,
academic, and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is
committed to clinical excellence, teamwork, and the professional
fulfillment of academic medicine. As a member of the Department of
Urology, you will provide high-quality outpatient care within the
University of Toledo Medical Center and the Regency Clinic. You
will work alongside a supportive team of urologists, advanced
practice providers, nursing, and administrative staff, contributing
to exceptional patient care, care coordination, and medical
education within an academic practice setting. Position Highlights:
100% Outpatient position Work alongside a collaborative team of
urology physicians and APPs Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am –
4:30pm No weekend coverage No call coverage Average patient volume:
20–24 patients per day Manage a broad range of urologic conditions,
including but not limited to: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
Kidney stones Urinary tract infections Voiding dysfunction
Hematuria Men’s and women’s urologic health concerns Required
Qualifications: Education Graduate of an accredited Nurse
Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Master’s degree in the
appropriate field Licensure & Certification State of Ohio licensure
as a Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or
Physician Assistant National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
or Physician Assistant Acute Care certification required for Nurse
Practitioners Certificate of Authority (COA) from the Ohio Board of
Nursing or Ohio State Medical Board BLS certification Eligible to
obtain and maintain Certificate to Prescribe and DEA registration
