working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Kalamazoo, Michigan, 49048! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of
experience required. License: Valid state license required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in Telemetry
and patient ratios of 6-7. Description: The position is for a
Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical/Telemetry. The
nurse will work in a 46-bed surgical unit. The primary patient
population includes trauma surgery, post-bariatric surgery,
post-abdominal surgery, post-amputation surgery, and urological
issues. The unit may also take overflow medically and cardiac
patients. Nurses must be aware of and comfortable with patient
ratios, typically ranging from 1:5-6, which may increase to 1:7
during call-ins. Weekend requirements include working every other
weekend. Holiday requirements include working every other holiday.
Nurses will participate in an interdisciplinary team, collaborating
with various support services. Basic responsibilities will include
managing patient care, telemetry monitoring, and responding to
emergencies. The work environment requires knowledge of several
medical procedures and equipment. All certifications must be
obtained prior to the start of the position. Travelers will be
accepted, and first-time travelers are welcome. All staff must
adhere to professional conduct standards as any issues may result
