New opening for an experienced emergency physician in the majestic mountains of the northwest! This charming not-for-profit hospital has been part of the community nearly 100 years and rarely sees turnover but the emergency medicine group is now looking for one additional physician to join the team. With a low annual volume, the physicians work 24 shifts and full time is only 7 days per month with flexible scheduling. This is definitely a quality of life oriented practice where you can enjoy a low-stress pace providing quality care to one patient at a time and spend the majority of your time exploring this skier's paradise & the many outdoor adventures it has in store! Compensation is very strong for the region plus a full range of benefits provided in addition. Total compensation package is well over $300,000 making the reimbursement per patient average one of the best in the region. This is a very family oriented area with a real sense of community, virtually no crime, plenty of amenities and some of the top schools in the state. Although many of the physicians choose to live in town, commuting from the nearby cities is easy and acceptable as well.
