Job Description:

Renewal Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. This position involves working under the direction and supervision of physical therapists to provide rehabilitative care to patients in nursing homes, rehab centers, and long-term care facilities. As a PTA, you will help patients recover and improve their mobility and quality of life, contributing to our mission of delivering outstanding therapy services across the United States. Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to help patients achieve specific clinical objectives. Perform patient therapies such as massages, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities as instructed by the physical therapist. Document patient progress and communicate patient status to the physical therapist, ensuring continuity of care. Educate patients and their families about the treatment plan and home exercises. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Participate in clinical conferences to update and plan patient care with the therapy team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with a diverse patient population. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Solid understanding of therapy equipment and proper use. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current and valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. CPR certification preferred.
