1 year in an Intensive Care Unit License: Valid state nursing
license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 1
year experience in ICU setting - Ability to manage assigned patient
ratios based on acuity - Skills in patient monitoring and emergency
response Description: This position requires a registered nurse to
provide care in a critical care setting. The nurse will care for a
mixed population of ICU and Progressive Care Unit patients. Patient
ratios vary based on acuity, with critical patients receiving 1:1
nursing care. The nurse will assist in ventilator management and
monitor patients with respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, and
multi-system organ failure. Special procedures will include CRRT,
A-Line placement, and chest tube placement. The nurse will float to
other ICUs and med-surg units as needed based on census. Weekend
shifts will be required. Collaboration with interdisciplinary
teams, including respiratory therapy and pharmacy, is essential.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are necessary for
managing complex patient cases. Responsibilities include medication
administration, IV management, and patient education. Candidates
must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work
in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to providing high-quality
patient care is essential. Continuous professional development and
