Locums, Inc. and our Veterans need you! We are seeking full-time Psychiatrists for the VA Hospital in Battle Creek, MI. Duties include Physical Assessment, Psychiatric Evaluations and Mental Status Exams, Psychotherapy, Pharmacotherapy, Consultation, Clinical Supervision, General Medical Condition Care, Group Psychotherapy, Behavior Therapy, Family Therapy, Treatment Team meetings, Discharge Planning, Testing and Prescribing of Medications. All state and Federal licenses accepted at all government facilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Period of Performance is about 7/1/20 to 6/30/24
- 40 Hour work-week, 8am-4:30pm; some evenings and weekends if needed
- Rotating on-call schedule
- Malpractice provided
- 13-15 outpatient and 20-25 inpatient visits per day; OP and IP duties split among staff members
- Located solely at the Battle Creek, MI VA Hospital
- Per Diem provided for travel, housing, and expenses

Requirements:

- Active and unrestricted state or Federal license
- Board Certified/Eligible with ABPN
- Active and unrestricted DEA
- Active BLS Certification
- Current vaccinations and immunizations
- Minimum of 2 years experience
