The Physician will be assigned to the Medical Service of the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. The incumbent will be working at the a VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) providing primary care to Veterans enrolled in Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT).
The position is for a board eligible, board certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician who will be responsible for delivery of primary care to patients enrolled at a West Michigan CBOC a care delivery system of the Battle Creek VA Medical Center.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Extended hours on Wednesday and Saturdays. Do to the nature of this position, hours may be rotated or extended based on the needs of the Medical Center and our Veterans. Travel not required.

  Federal Benefits Overview
  
  Salary: $180,000 to $225,000 per year

    Basic Requirements:
    
    • 
      
    • United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
      
    • Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
      
    • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
      
    • Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
      
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
      
      Preferred Experience: Board certification in Internal or Family Medicine.
