Behavioral Health Clinician

experience providing direct clinical behavioral health
services.

Essential Functions:
Understand the philosophy of strength-based treatment, Core Values
and treatment modality of Starr Commonwealth in working with youth
and families.
Be aware of and adhere to the Michigan Child Protection Law,
especially as it relates to the mandatory reporting of suspected
child abuse and/or neglect. - Be aware and adhere to the Office of
Recipient Rights reporting and conduct requirements.
Develop and monitor student centered service plans consistent with
the individual goals.
Enter information into appropriate systems, internal and external,
in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist or substitute other staff as needed to ensure continuity of
care and case coverage. - This includes providing appropriate and
helpful feedback on problematic areas and behavior management
skills.
Conduct intake and discharge interviews.
Protects the confidentiality for all consumers of the program
consistent with the laws pertaining to confidentiality of the State
of Michigan as well as Federal HIPAA laws.
Build positive caring relationships with youth and families based
on respect, trust and appropriate communication.
Meet or exceed targeted census standard, service levels and
budgetary goals, both revenue and expense.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in human services or related field -
3 years working with youth and families
Must have an active State of Michigan professional -Master's level
licensure; LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP
CTP to be completed within 3 months of hire
Valid driver's license without restrictions and minimal violations
over past 3 years
