As an Associate Manager, Commercial Strategy at Kellogg, you will utilize different technical competencies to support our -total Ready to Eat Cereal (RTEC) Team portfolio in the development and execution of key programs based in Battle Creek, MI. - The primary focus of our Commercial Strategy Team is to lead the development and execution of our commercial business plan for our Cereal brands in the U.S. through cross-functional collaboration, increased direct connectivity with Sales, and seamless integration of the voice of the customer. - On our team, we focus on great relationships - both with our internal partners and our external customers & consumers. With an owner's mindset, you will coordinate the development, communication and procurement of selling materials for both national and regional customer specific programming. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Connect Corporate Strategy to the Field - -You will own content maintenance for our internal Customer Business Plan, and the communication to the field. - While you're at it, you will be a key contributor to strategy development and project management of Project Work Requests, Display Work Requests and Business Expansions, as well as have the opportunity to work cross-functionally to support key strategic initiatives, provide resource tracking, and deliver on field sales needs. -
  • Process Ownership - -We're looking for someone who can Snap, Crackle and Coordinate---.everything from being pro-active, multitasking and great organizational skills. - You'll work closely with cross-functional partners from Finance, Supply Chain and Innovation Marketing. - You will be an integral team member helping us be a Best in Class Commercial Partner for our Customer Teams while maintaining Innovation Trackers, Price Lists, Bulletins and Sales Decks. -Analytic skills, critical thinking, and insight analysis will be key to your success. -
  • -Vendor and Agency Management -- -You will thrive in this role by exploring and evaluating potential new partners across Promotions & CPG Sales Vendors and Brand & Marketing Agencies to ensure the best possible execution and return on investment, in addition to managing agencies to guarantee timely completion of projects. Our success is shaped by you. Required:
    • High School Diploma/GED
    • CPG Sales or Marketing experience
    • Proficient in gathering, compiling and analyzing data which results in delivering actionable insights & storytelling
    • The ability to multi-task, along with strong organization, presentation and written/verbal communication skills
    • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - focused on Power Point & Excel
    • A high aptitude for collaboration, with the ability to work across multiple teams and functions, each with unique goals Bonus Points:
      • Bachelor's Degree
      • Experience working with syndicated data such as Nielsen Connect & IRI
      • Experience working in SAP - specifically Kellogg's Business Warehouse (BW) reporting WHAT'S NEXT?
