professional like you to join our team at our Battle Creek, MI
site. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the
Maintenance and Engineering groups for the Battle Creek, MI site to
provide satisfactory equipment reliability and installation of new
projects within budget and of the highest quality.This is an
excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your working knowledge
of computerized maintenance management systems, capital improvement
execution, accounting principles, and safe operations, as well as
your ability to anticipate, identify, and facilitate resolution for
a wide variety issues to satisfy site, business, and corporate
objectives. You will also get to share your drive for innovation
with a focus on continuous improvement.Qualifications - BASF
recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by
the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalentFormula
for SuccessDemonstrating your excellent understanding of safety and
environmental policies, personnel policies, and budgetary
processes, you will be responsible for all functions of the Battle
Creek Maintenance and Engineering Department, including safety,
environment, quality, training, and support of BASF
policies.Leveraging your education in Engineering, your experience
in chemical plant maintenance & plant engineering, as well as your
proficient knowledge of chemical plant equipment and activities,
you will manage and lead the site Maintenance and Engineering team
responsible for equipment design and asset integrity and
reliability as well as day to day facility maintenance consistent
with BASF technical engineering standard, objectives, and
principles.Your strong leadership and communication skills will
serve you well as you manage the interface between site Maintenance
and engineering, as well as Battle Creek Operating Units and
Capital/Expense planning.Relying on your strong business acumen
that aligns with site and business objectives, you will manage site
Maintenance and Engineering cost center expense budgets.Applying
your detailed working knowledge of chemical plant maintenance and
project engineering activities, you will manage execution of site
capital projects.Leveraging your previous work in administration
and your ability to lead and manage a group of technical
professionals, you will manage the administrative activities of
site Maintenance and Engineering departments and the development of
maintenance strategies including asset effectiveness improvements,
bad actor program, continuous improvement to the maintenance
excellence and reliability processes (MERP) to enhance reliability,
quality of repairs, reducing repeat repairs, and lowering cost for
Battle Creek in order to maximize profitability and maintain
EH&S performance as part of Strategic Production.Create Your
