Job Description Job Description Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description The Machine Operator’s primary responsibility is to load materials into CNC Vertical Mills, monitor the machine during operations, deburr parts, and perform quality checks. Responsibilities Convert raw materials to finished products. Meet standardized production times related to the product being made. Monitor part quality and identify rejects. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience with CNC, Mill, and CNC setup. Proficient in using calipers and micrometers. Ability to read blueprints. Experience with CNC machines, especially Haas. Ability to read a tape measure to meet product specifications. General use of air and hand tools. Strong mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to stand/walk throughout the duration of the shift. Ability to work overtime based on business needs. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to advanced machinery such as VMC/Vertical Machining Centers, Vertical Mills, Haas TL Series Lathe, and 3 Axis Vertical CNC Milling Centers. Be prepared to use personal protective equipment and work overtime as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Novi, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
