Exempt Primary Location: HSC C Shift: 1 Job Description: The
Department of Pathology at the University of Toledo Medical Center
(UTMC) is seeking a full-time, tenure track, academic surgical
pathologist. UTMC is a tertiary care center that supports UT
College of Medicine programs for medical students, graduate
students, and residents in a wide variety of programs. The
Department of Pathology has training programs for AP/CP residents,
for pathologists' assistants, and for laboratory technicians.
Responsibilities: Collaborate primary clinical responsibilities at
UTMC with other anatomic pathologists Teaching of residents and
medical students is a critical part of this position, and the
successful applicant must have exemplary teaching skills. Excellent
opportunities are available for independent or collaborative
research, and the candidate is expected to develop a strong
publication resume. Provide services Monday through Friday Call
every sixth weekend Minimum Qualifications: M.D. or equivalent
degree Must be AP/CP Board certified Must be eligible for licensure
in Ohio Evidence of excellence in teaching and evidence of
