**This will be a remote position for the time being. Ideal candidate will reside in Battle Creek, MI or the Greater Chicago area. ***Maternity Leave coverage. Position could start sooner than 10/11 The Brand Design Leader is a critical member of the Integrated Marketing team. This role is responsible for leading design strategy and packaging for a specific set of categories, brands and retail channels. Managing the overall portfolio of our brands and ensuring that we create distinctive, engaging and relevant design solutions for our target consumers. Requires a tight partnership with other functions to drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout the entire design process. Including governing the quality of strategic design briefs, clarity of roles and decision rights for Tier 1 and Tier 2 packaging design initiatives. Leads our core set of agencies in developing best-in-class design solutions for packaging, brand identity, and overall brand experience. Is committed to driving best-in-class partnerships with our design agencies with annual performance reviews to drive change and accelerate growth. This role includes accountability. Category design budget, managing resources closely and maximizing our design investment. Ensuring process efficiency with high quality partnerships, internal clarity on roles, and industry-leading rates for strategic design. Proven track record of leading design strategy, packaging design and touchpoint activation that drives impact and in market results. -Self-motivated, with the ability to collaborate with others and inspire teams in a creative environment. -The ability to be flexible in a rapid-pace, changing environment. Ability to make changes on the fly without losing momentum. -Attention to detail and commitment to high quality solutions.
