Key Responsibilities Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, including labor, material, and overhead. Develop, maintain, and update standard costs for products and processes. Perform detailed variance analysis (e.g., price, quantity, efficiency) and explain deviations. Manage inventory costing, valuation, and reconciliation processes. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cost forecasts for production. Identify cost reduction opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a manufacturing context. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP system configuration or module implementation (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle Manufacturing). Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
