Join Kellogg Community Credit Union as an Accounting Clerk!The Accounting Clerk role is critical to the organization and responsible for supporting the financial operations of the credit union through maintenance of accounting records and reports. In this role you will perform accounting duties in accordance with standard procedures.Responsibilities

• Returned check processing.
• Quality Control of member data change reports.
• Verifies accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received.
• Reconciles bank accounts, posts to and balances general or subsidiary ledgers, processes payments, and compiles segments of monthly closings, monthly reports, and annual reports.
• Codes documents in accordance with accounts listing.
• Records disbursements, expenses, and other payments.
• Provides department support and back up to Accounting Representatives..
  
  Requirements:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Prior accounting experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills including the Microsoft suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral.
  • Ability to interact with others on a regular basis and build relationships.
