The Job:
A 21st Century Youth Development Worker (YDW) is an educator that
provides fun, positive and enriching afternoon experiences for
students during the BCPS 21st Century Community Learning Centers
Program. A YDW creates and facilitates programming for students at
elementary and secondary summer school sites. A YDW collaborates
with other YDWs and the Extended Learning Coordinator of their site
to deliver engaging, hands-on activities that enhance a child's
reading, writing, math, science and social-emotional learning
skills.
